The Peperomia (Radiator) Plant refers to species within the Peperomia genus, a group of over 1,500 tropical plants prized for their diverse, ornamental foliage. The common name was likely coined by horticulturist Liberty Hyde Bailey, who noted that these heat-loving plants thrive in the warm air found on windowsills above radiators.
