Neem khali / Neem Cake - 200 GM

Neem khali, or neem cake, is the byproduct left over after cold-pressing the oil from neem seeds. It is a 100% organic product used for plant fertilization and pest and disease control in gardening and agriculture.

• Enriches soil: Neem khali contains essential nutrients such as nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium (NPK), along with other micronutrients. It adds organic matter to the soil, improving its texture, aeration, and water-holding capacity.
• Pest and disease control: Neem khali is a natural nematicide and pest repellent due to its content of active compounds like azadirachtin. It protects plant roots from nematodes, termites, and soil-borne grubs and fungi.
• Sustains nitrogen availability: It acts as a nitrification inhibitor, slowing down the conversion of nitrogenous compounds into nitrogen gas. This prolongs the availability of nitrogen for crops and plants.

How to use neem khali

• For potted plants: Mix 10–30 grams of neem cake powder into the topsoil of a pot, depending on its size. For a 12-inch pot, a handful of neem cake is often recommended.
• For garden soil: Apply the powder evenly to the topsoil and mix it in gently.
• Frequency: For continued pest and disease protection, reapply neem khali every 2 to 3 weeks.
